13, 2004. The Board of Trustees of Bethlehem
University held a business luncheon on Thursday, 12
February 2004, with three new members attending. This
was the first time a meeting was held in the presence
of Brother Georges Absi, FSC, Provincial of the Middle
East Province of Brothers; Mr. Kamal Hassouneh, notable
advocate from Hebron; and Mr. Makram Qumsiah, business
leader from the Bethlehem area. As Board Members were
gathering in the Institute of Hotel Management, they
were greeted by Brother Vincent Malham, President-Vice
Chancellor.
Brother Vincent has
just returned from a number of international meetings
in Rome, New York, and Memphis. This meeting of the
Board of Trustees is an effort to expand the Board
and promote the University locally.
Brother Vincent described
the luncheon meeting as productive and encouraging.
He expressed his appreciation for the Board's indispensable
role in supporting the University. The next meeting
is planned for late Spring.
