Cooperation
with the La Sallian Lycee du Sacree Coeur, Paray
Le Monial, France
Mr. Sebastaian Brulez, teacher in the
La Sallian Lycee du Sacre Coeur, in Paray Le Monial,
France, visited Bethlehem University. The link was
established when Mr. Jean-Marc Nesme, Mayor of Paray
Le Monial, visited Bethlehem and became acquainted
with key institutions in the City.
Mr. Nesme, who is also a Member of Parliament,
visited in September 2003 with the Consul General of
France, Mr. Regis Koetschet. When Mr. Nesme returned
to Paray Le Monial, he informed his institutions there
about organizations in the City of Bethlehem, and he
was encouraging the establishment of joint cooperation.
Mr. Jean-Luc Lerat, Director of the
Lycee du Sacre Coeur, contacted Bethlehem University
and expressed willingness to establish links between
the two institutions in the context of the cooperation
agreement between the two cities.
Mr. Lerat asked Mr. Brulez to visit
Bethlehem University to explore cooperation possibilities.
Mr. Brulez met with Mr. Nabil Mufdi, Director of the
Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism, as well
as French language teachers Mr. Lutfi Nia and Severiene
Bleuze, and Brother Jack Curran, Vice President for
Development. |
