the Knights of Columbus from California Visits Bethlehem
University

Wednesday, 17 March, Bethlehem University hosted eleven
Knights and Ladies of the Equestrian Order of the Holy
Sepulchre, Western Lieutenancy, USA , and members of
the Knights of Columbus from California , led by Mrs.
Elizabeth Wood, Tour Leader.
Having arrived to campus
around noontime, the visit began with an opportunity
to dine in the University's Institute of Hotel Management
and Tourism with Brother Jack Curran, Vice President
for Development; and Mr. Sami El-Yousef, Vice President
for Finances and Planning.
Following lunch, Brother
Vincent Malham, President-Vice Chancellor, welcomed
the guests as they visited the University Chapel with
Brother Jean Manuel. Brother Vincent expressed the
gratitude of the University community for their presence
among us and for their support and encouragement of
the important mission of the University in the Holy
Land .
 A brief tour of the
University and viewing of a multimedia presentation
about the University and its mission followed lunch.
Ms. Elsa Hazboun, Director of Personnel, Dr. Irene
Hazou, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs,
and two students, Ramzi Qumsiah and Rana Al-Hosein,
engaged the group in conversation, responding to questions
and discussing the hopes and successes of the University
community.
