Brother Peter Iorlano Visits Bethlehem University

During the week of 3 – 7 May 2004, Bethlehem University hosted Brother Peter Iorlano, Assistant Provincial of the Long Island-New England Province of the De La Salle Brothers, USA.

Brother Vincent Malham, President-Vice Chancellor, provided Brother Peter with a schedule for his visit which included opportunities to meet faculty and students of the University community in various settings so as to facilitate an understanding of the daily challenges as well as new developments and accomplishments taking place on campus. Students greeted Brother Peter in the University garden and the Millennium Hall Lounge, speaking about their experiences and student needs at Bethlehem University. Faculty from the English and Social Sciences Department met with Brother Peter to discuss the academic curriculum and the Lasallian formation of faculty and students.

Brother Peter commented on his visit by saying: “Certainly I enjoyed my visit here very much, and I have been impressed with the warm welcome that I have received here. My heart has been touched by the openness and the friendliness of the young people and the spirit of the people here despite their hardships.”
