British Government Scholarship Interviews in Bethlehem University

On Thursday, 3 February, Bethlehem University hosted Mr. Martin Daltry, Deputy Director of the British Council, and Mr. John Kane, Vice Consul at the British Consulate. They were visiting in order to interview four Bethlehem University graduates who had applied for the Chevening Scholarship of the British Government. Since the graduates are unable to travel to Jerusalem for the interviews, the British Council asked that the interviews be held on campus.

Mr. George Sahhar, Public Relations/ Development Officer, welcomed the guests and gave them a brief history of the campus, and he showed them the view of the Bethlehem and Jerusalem area from the Bethlehem Hall balcony.

Brother Fergus McArdle, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Irene Hazou, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs, hosted Mr. Daltry and Mr. Kane for lunch in the Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism.
