University Welcomes Brother Daniel Casey

I am pleased to announce the arrival of Brother Daniel Casey, FSC, Vice Chancellor-elect, who will assume office on 1 July 2005. We are delighted Brother Daniel is with us and give him a very warm Bethlehem University welcome.

As the university community may recall, Brother Daniel visited Bethlehem University in Fall 2003 when many on campus had the opportunity to meet him. He is a man of vast administrative experience and of distinguished leadership ability. He has previous international experience as an educational administrator and has a proven record of multi-cultural sensitivity.

During his long and varied career, he has worked very well at national and international levels with various church and secular constituencies, including boards of schools, benefactors and fundraising officers. Brother Daniel is very positive and hopeful about the opportunity to serve the Palestinian people and the educational community of Bethlehem University. While preparing to begin his new responsibilities, he will also be tutoring Intensive English students this semester.
