Picnic Day

Important guests on campus...

On Sunday March 13, 2005, a Picnic Day was held in Bethlehem University for faculty, staff, their families and children. It was a day of entertainment, fun, and laughter. Fortunately the weather was nice and warm.

According to the Social Committee which planned the event, the Picnic Day allows faculty and staff to socialize and to enjoy the beauty of the Bethlehem University campus, and to bring fun and happiness to the lives of those attending.

Many of the activities catered to the children of BU employees. Students of the Education Faculty held painting sessions, and story-telling and vocal and theoretical imitations. Also the children saw comedy films, while others played games in the basketball court.

Faculty and staff enjoyed the picnic, because different activities were taking place at the same time, and while someone could be competing in a volleyball game, basketball, or doing fitness exercise, family and friends would be cheering while enjoying a piece of cake.

The Picnic Day concluded with a game of BINGO in the Social and Cultural Center. The Bethlehem University community enjoyed a family day full of joy and laughter, and the aim of the Social Committee was achieved, namely to "draw a smile on everyone's face."
