Bethlehem University Journalism Students Attend Media Conference

On 19 March, 15 Journalism students accompanied Dr. Qustandi Shomali, of the Faculty of Arts, to attend the “Second Media Conference: TAWASOL,” organized by the Palestinian Youth Association for Leadership and Rights Activation. Students attended from the various Palestinian universities, in addition to professional journalists, media academicians, and young journalists.

Conference participants discussed the steps needed to prepare young journalists, how to improve Palestinian media, internships for young journalists, and making sure that the media courses offered to young journalists meet the practical needs of the journalism sector.

The Conference, under the name TAWASOL (communication and interaction), is a step towards getting young journalists involved in the process of media development in Palestine.
