MA in PILGRIMAGE, TOURISM, and CULTURAL HERITAGE

at Bethlehem University in collaboration with Metropolitan University of London and Joensuu University of Finland and Centre of Cultural Heritage Preservation, Bethlehem. It is part of the European Commission’s TEMPUS program in Palestine.

The program will be taught in six modules over a period of two years. Each module consists of eight intensive days of lectures, discussions, on site visits, readings and projects.

Ten carefully selected students from a wide variety of professions and institutions, initiated this program on Monday, June 13, 2005. International and local experts conduct these modules. The second module will be held in October, 2005.

The ultimate objective is to enable graduates to be come leaders in the field and thus contribute to the development of Palestinian tourism in the future.
