The Institute of Hotel Management in collaboration with the International Cooperation Agency of Spain in Jerusalem promoted Spanish gastronomy by offering Spanish cuisine
from different communities in Spain each day. In this occasion, the octopus, the empanada and the filloas were the favorites of the five days that exposed the culture of Galicia, north-west part of Spain. Faculty, staff, students and guests enjoyed not only the food, but the music and the power point presenting Galician scenery. While Galician music was played in the background, some boy-scout students played bagpipes pleasing the audience with their professional performance. This excellent week of cultural exchange was the result of the enthusiasm of the students assisted by their teachers at the Institute of Hotel Management.
