Thus far in the Spring Semester 2006 Bethlehem University hosted 1144 visitors, most of whom have been pilgrims who are interested in supporting the educational role of Bethlehem University in this troubled area of the Middle East. Many of these pilgrims are members of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulture who generously support Bethlehem University through prayers, endowed scholarships or financial aid available to all outstanding students in need of financial support.
The majority of the pilgrims who visited the University were from United States of America, 243 visitors, and from various European countries 503 visitors ( Germany 182, England 169, Italy 72). Also among the visitors were school students from Palestine who visited the University as prospective students to get acquainted with the academic and social life at Bethlehem University.
In addition many diplomats, university colleagues and NGO representatives who support the mission of Bethlehem University visited the campus to meet with students and faculty members so as to have a better understanding of the situation under which Bethlehem University operates.
