Bethlehem University hosts Knights and Ladies of the Equestrian Order,

The Netherlands Lieutenancy- 23 May 2006

Mr. Godfried J.H. Prieckaerts, lieutenant, led a pilgrimage of 24 Knights and Ladies of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem, the Netherlands Lieutenancy to the Holy Land. They visited Bethlehem University on Wednesday 17 May 2006.

Upon arrival the guests proceeded to the Chapel where Brother Joseph Loewenstein briefed them about the arts and history of the Chapel, then the group toured the campus and were briefed on the significance and background of every station. The campus tour were led by Mr. Maher Bandak from the public relations office and the students.

The guests proceeded to Furno Hall where Brother Daniel Casey, Vice Chancellor, addressed the group and expressed gratitude to the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher for their continued support and generosity to Bethlehem University. Then they attended a multimedia presentation about Bethlehem University, and they held a discussion with Brother Jack Curran, Vice President for Development, and students: Riham Salsaa, Tala Karkar, Lyn Elias and Elias Halabi.
