Dr. Mu’men Badarin, a graduate with a master degree in Arabic from Jordan, joined Bethlehem University as a faculty member in the Department of Arabic in 2001. In the academic year 2002 he started preparing for his doctorate degree from Ein Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. It took him four years of hard work in which he explained, cataloged and printed a manuscript published 500 years ago. On 26 April 2006, Dr. Mu’men defended his 700 page dissertation and was granted the PhD degree with honor.
