Institute for community partnership graduation

The Institute for Community Partnership, adjacent to the campus, is an integral unit of Bethlehem University. The Institute aims to strengthen University ties with the Palestinian community and individuals, through providing expertise and facilities available at the University, in a manner that allows growth and development of the University through greater involvement with local community.
On Wednesday 7 June 2006, Mr. Moussa Rabadi, Director of the Institute for Community Partnership handed 270 young men and women certificates for the completion of their course work during this past semester. They participated in one of twelve different courses in areas such as language, computer, management, communication skills and public speaking. The ceremony took place in Furno Hall, which was filled with family and friends of the recipients. Br. Daniel Casey, Vice Chancellor, congratulated all the participants for their efforts and success.
Representing Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation was Ms. Monika Hillebrand. Thanks to the generous support of Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation, the Institute for Community Partnership is able to continue serving the Palestinian people.
Among the graduates were 32 Bethlehem University staff and 20 Student Ambassadors who were trained in communication skills and public speaking.
