Dr. shomali granted the degree of full professor

Due to the significant researches published by Dr. Qustandi Shomali about the literary, cultural and journalistic life in Palestine , Bethlehem University decided to grant him the degree of full professor. Dr. Shomali joined the Department of Arabic at Bethlehem University in 1977 and he is the third faculty member to be granted this prestigious degree. He participated in many scientific conferences in Palestine and internationally and was a visiting professor at Georgetown University in 1986, College De France in 1996 and University of California in 2004.

On Wednesday 14 June 2006 , the Department of Arabic at Bethlehem University held a reception in which faculty and staff were invited. Br. Daneil Casey, Vice Chancellor, congratulated Dr. Shomali and the Department of Arabic.
