removing barriers to achievement
Thanks to the arab aid student international
Bethlehem University, 10 July 2006
We all have different ways of learning, but some of us are more challenged than others. Bethlehem University considers that all students are full members of the school community and are entitled to the opportunities and responsibilities that are available to all students in the University.
Bethlehem University provides every student with an education, that includes providing access to special education programs for students with special needs. Whether a student is gifted and talented or has moderate or severe needs, specialized learning programs provide the unique educational opportunities they need to reach their potential.
Our sincere thanks to the Arab Student Aid International for their continued support of the students of Palestine and particularly the students of Bethlehem University . Because of their generous support Bethlehem University acquired two pieces of educational equipment to assist students who have visual disabilities – the Mountbatten Brailler and Electronic Magnification Monitor- these equipment were installed in the Resource Center for Students with Special Needs.
In addition to that Bethlehem University purchased 12 dissecting microscopes for the biology laboratories also from a grant received from Arab Student Aid International.
