Opening of the Academic Year Mass

Presided by His Excellency Archbishop Fouad Twal, President of Bethlehem University, and assisted by Father Jamal Khader, Chairperson of the Religious Department, Father Peter DuBrul and Father Vincent Nagle, opening of the academic year Mass was held at Bethlehem University on Thursday 14 September 2006.

Before the Mass started, Brother Daniel Casey, Vice Chancellor, welcomed all who were present, Archbishop Twal and Brother George Absi , Provincial of the Christian Brothers who is visiting Bethlehem University.

In His Homily, Archbishop Fouad Twal focused on the teachings of Jesus Christ and how they impact our lives. In the words of Archbishop Twal: “Faith generates happiness despite all difficulties that we face in our daily lives”
