Alumni and Friends of Bethlehem University host the
Annual Christmas Benefit Dinner
At the Annual Christmas Benefit Dinner Br. Daniel Casey, Vice Chancellor of Bethlehem University, expressed the deep appreciation the students, faculty and staff of Bethlehem University, have for all those who wholeheartedly support the efforts of Bethlehem University in offering a brighter future for the young men and women of Palestine.
On Saturday the 2nd of December, the Alumni and Friends of Bethlehem University hosted the Annual Christmas Benefit Dinner at the Seven Arches Hotel, Jerusalem. As guests arrived, they were greeted by Mr. Habib Khoury (BU’82), Co- Chairperson of the Benefit Dinner Committee and H.E. Archbishop Fouad Twal, President of Bethlehem University. H.E. Archbishop Antonio Franco, the Apostolic Delegate and Chancellor of Bethlehem University, offered a prayer of blessings and grace.
While being entertained by the Christmas music presented by Garo, Bethlehem University students and friends conducted a most successful raffle with more than 20 prizes for the enjoyment of the dinner guests. A highlight of the evening was the announcement of 15 scholarships donated through the generosity of some local and international NGOs as well as individual persons.
