CRS and Caritas Jerusalem Continue to Support BU Students

On Monday 23 Mr. Thomas Garofalo and Ms. Claudette Habash, representatives of the Catholic Relief Service (CRS) and the Caritas Jerusalem respectively, visited Bethlehem University to offer 143 scholarships for selected students for the Fall semester.

Mr. Sami El-Yousef, Vice President for finance and planning welcomed the guests and thanked them for this initiative, and then the guests explained the details of the scholarships.

This project is directed to three Palestinian Universities: Bethlehem University, Birzeit University and Al-Azhar University in Gaza.

They will offer each student $300 on condition that the students work 40 study hours in places to be named later by the Caritas representative.
