Unipal Offers English Courses to Bethlehem University Staff and Students

Student ambassadors, plant personnel and security guards completed recently a four-week English language training course offered by the Universities’ Trust for Educational Exchange with Palestinians (Unipal). Unipal volunteers and a group of 30 participants dedicated two hours per day, twice a week to teaching and learning English language and communication skills, relevant to participants needs and work nature.

Bethlehem University welcomes very much the efforts of Unipal as it places the utmost value on education as a tool for employment and focuses on the importance of cultural exchange. The university faculty, staff and students look forward to a continued cooperation in the future.

Unipal is a UK-based organization that “seeks to facilitate a two-way process of education by providing English-language teaching…” to Palestinians, particularly Palestinian refugees, in the West Bank, Gaza and Lebanon and familiarizing British students to the situation and the daily lives of Palestinians.
