A Bethlehem University graduate, Mohammad Abu Ajamieh, has won the Web Development and Design Competition at the 11 th annual Arab Youth Conference in Egypt . Mr. Abu Ajamieh was awarded the top prize for using unique design and innovative technologies. He was chosen by the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education to represent Palestine in the conference from July 5-14. His winning presentation featured a website designed for Bethlehem University 's Master of International Cooperation and Development (MICAD). MICAD is the first master's degree offered by Bethlehem University . The website will be launched later this year.
Abu Ajamieh graduated from Bethlehem University this year. A Business Administration major, he also minored in Computer Information Systems "CIS".
A group of 50 Palestinian participants visited Egypt to take part in the conference, which was also attended by Mr. Jamal Al-Jamal, the Palestinian Consul in Egypt , along with other Palestinian representatives.
