The holy month of ramadan
Dear Faculty, Staff, Students, Alumni and Friends of Bethlehem University,
As we receive and welcome this holy month of Ramadan and look forward to the feast of Eid Al-Fitr, on behalf of the University community, I send my best wishes to all our Muslim faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends.
As we fulfill the mission of Bethlehem University to foster “shared values, moral principles and dedication to serving the common good,” I pray that this time be of spiritual benefit for us all, Muslims and Christians alike.
All of us have before us an opportunity to strengthen our service of one another, our prayer, and our charity as we build good relations and promote cultural dialogue. May we all renew our commitment to lead lives of integrity and compassion as we work together for greater justice and enduring peace in our land.
Let us here at Bethlehem University, together as Christians and Muslims, continue to strengthen our true fraternity, striving always to do the will of the Merciful God who created humanity to be one family.
May God grant us grace to embrace our challenges and to live in hope.
Sincerely,
Brother Robert Smith, FSC, PhD
Interim Vice Chancellor
Vice President for Academic Affairs
