Bethlehem University Celebrates 35 Years of Service to the Palestinian Community

It's time to party! Bethlehem University , which began in October 1973, is celebrating its 35 th anniversary with a week of events and festivities.

Bethlehem University has been providing quality higher education to the people of Palestine for 35 years, serving them in its role as a center for the advancement, sharing and use of knowledge.

In order to celebrate this huge achievement, the staff and faculty of Bethlehem University will kick off a week of celebration with a walk down memory lane. A photo exhibit of some of the university's most important and memorable moments will be launched on Monday, October 13 th at 10am in Sansour Hall.

The university will be happy to welcome alumni from years past to come and search for themselves or their loved ones amongst the pictures. The photo exhibit will run from October 13 th to 17 th during the week of the 35 th celebrations.

In commemoration of this important week, the university will also host a picnic day for staff, faculty and students on Tuesday, October 14 th . And on Thursday, October 16 th , students will be treated to professional live music and dance in the activity hour from 11am to 1pm.

As well, as part of the launch of a new alumni website, Bethlehem University is inviting all former students to attend an alumni day on Friday, October 17 th beginning at 8:30am.

Alumni will be introduced to the new website and become members of the new Bethlehem University alumni community. There will also be entertainment, a sports match between current students and graduates and the opportunity to take part in a focus group.

To wrap up the week and bless the ongoing success of Bethlehem University , a Thanksgiving Anniversary Mass for staff and faculty will be held in the Chapel of the Divine Child at 7pm on Saturday, October 18 th .
