Former Prime Minister of the Netherlands Visits Bethlehem University

Bethlehem University hosted Mr. Andreas van Agt, former Prime Minister of the Netherlands and Member of the University’s Board of Regents.

Mr. van Agt met University officials and was briefed on the academic process since the University was founded.

Mr. van Agt met faculty and staff and discussed with them the political situation and the current conditions of the Palestinian people. The students briefed Mr. van Agt on the inhumane treatment they encounter at the checkpoints
