Condemnation

We the families and institutions of Jabal Al Mukabber / Sawahra Al Gharbia condemn the unfortunate incident that took place in the premises of Bethlehem University on Tuesday Nov. 1, 2005. We pray for the student for fast recovery and return to his studies. We confirm to the student, his family, University administration, faculty, student senate and to all our people our total rejection and condemnation for this unfortunate incident and to all kinds of violence and fighting regardless to its backgrounds and reasons. شجب واستنكار

نحن اهالي ومؤسسات وفعاليات جبل المكبر/ السواحرة الغربية ندين ونشجب الحدث المؤسف الذي وقع في حرم جامعة بيت لحم يوم الثلاثاء 1/11/2005، واذ ندعو للطالب المصاب بالشفاء العاجل والعودة الميمونة والسريعة إلى مقاعد الدراسة، فإننا نؤكد للطالب المصاب وعائلته وادارة الجامعة وهيئتها التدريسية ومجلس طلبتها وكافة ابناء شعبنا رفضنا القاطع واستنكارنا الشديد لهذا الحدث المؤسف ولكل مظهر من مظاهر العنف والاقتتال مهما كانت خلفيته واسبابه وان حرم جامعة بيت لحم كان وسيبقى ابداً مسرحاً ثقافياً شامخاً ومنارة علمية مضيئة ورمزاً خالداً لتقدم وتطور الشعب والوطن.
