On
Sunday morning, November 3rd, 310 graduates proudly marched into
the Bethlehem University Auditorium to receive their well earned
diplomas on stage in front of family and friends. The Israeli
occupation of Bethlehem during July and August prevented scheduled
end?of?year graduation. Archbishop Pietro Sambi, Apostolic Delegate
and Chancellor of the University, distributed the diplomas. Brother
Vincent Malham, President Vice Chancellor, and Mr. Hanna Nasser,
Mayor of Bethlehem and Chair of the Board of Trustees, congratulated
the graduates on their achievements in the face of great hardships.
Ms. Vivian Naber, a graduate of the Faculty of Business Administration,
spoke on behalf of the students and thanked the university Administration,
Brothers and Faculty for their commitment to the education of
Palestinian youth.
