Bethlehem University is mourning the passing of our very generous donor Elizabeth Moley, a philanthropist who was born in England.
She fell in love with the Holy Land and visited often; one of her favorite places was Bethlehem University. Over the years, she helped to support the University through the Moley Family Foundation.
She continued to sponsor a wide variety of developmental initiatives, student scholarships, and many other projects.
Bethlehem University recognized Elizabeth Moley for her outstanding example as a Christian parent, as a magnanimous benefactor of our institution, and as a dedicated friend of the Palestinian people, and awarded her with an Honorary Doctorate of Humanities on 2 October 2003.
Her generosity will forever be an inspiration to the Bethlehem University Community.
May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
