The inventory process is very essential in the Library to make sure that all the books are in the right place and to make it easier for the users to locate the books. The Digital Library Assistant machine helps to detect mistakes such as the wrong location of books, broken tags, books not in the database, etc.

It saves time and increases productivity, as well as discovers errors in the library collection arrangement that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Mrs. Sana Salsa and Mrs. Mirna Zoughbi dedicated two full months to conduct the inventory process with DLA and detected a lot of problems such as books in the wrong location, blank tags, rare books not classified, some books not entered in databases, some books marked as weeded while in fact, they were not, etc. The books, later on, were fixed by the staff.
