Interactive Media Students Visit Ma’an TV

As part of the Introduction to Media and Communications course supervised by Mr. Jeries Bassier, the Interactive Media program at Bethlehem University organized an educational visit to Ma’an TV headquarters in Bethlehem.

The students explored the origin, history, and evolution of Ma’an Agency, gaining insights into its role in addressing the needs of the local community and sharing the Palestinian narrative globally.

The discussion also covered the challenges of operating in the digital age and strategies for adapting to rapid technological changes. The students learned about the technical aspects of satellite broadcasting and digital media production.

This experience provided first-year students with practical exposure to the world of media, aligning with Bethlehem University’s mission to empower students through interactive and community-focused learning.
