Advancing Human Rights and Gender Equality: Bethlehem University’s Role in Educational Reform

Bethlehem University proudly contributed to the development of the book “Human Rights and Gender Equality” as part of the AMAL Project, which aims to integrate these crucial concepts into educational curricula.

Representing the university, Mr. Elias Al Hazin and Ms. Sabah Ikhmayess collaborated with the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education and academics from various Palestinian universities to author sections of the book.

The book equips students with essential knowledge about human rights, gender equality, and international conventions, fostering their ability to apply these principles in professional and public life. It is a testament to Bethlehem University’s mission to promote justice, equality, and social awareness in Palestinian society.

The book was officially launched on 13 January 2025, in Ramallah, where Bethlehem University’s delegation was honored for its impactful contributions to this academic milestone.
