Talitha Kumi School Visits Zbierski Library

On Wednesday, 29 January 2025, 36 ninth-grade students from Talitha Kumi school visited Bethlehem University’s Zbierski Library. Library Director Ms. Elizabeth Dsouza warmly welcomed them upon their arrival to the library. 

Ms. Juana Juha provided informative introduction to the various resources available on the ground floor.

At Turathuna, the George Nasra Center, Ms. Mirna Zougbhi and Ms. Sana Salsa took turns explaining the exhibits including heritage items and the missile that struck Bethlehem University in 2002. The students watched two films: Old Bethlehem and The Abandoned Village of Lifta.

Following the films, the students visited the second floor and the Archives, which was explained by Sr. Rose Amacanin.  

Ms. Mirna and Ms. Sana accompanied the students to the BU chapel, where in Ms. Amjaad Musleh explained its significance. 

Accompanied by their teachers, Ms. Nadia Habibeh and Ms. Hilda Ballout, the students enjoyed their visit. The library staff sincerely appreciate the Talitha Kumi school for making this visit possible.
