Bethlehem University Student Ambassadors recently participated in a powerful virtual exchange with members of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem (EOHSJ) – USA Western Lieutenancy. The meeting honored the anniversary of the great visit that took place a few years ago, marking three years since that significant occasion.
The gathering allowed students to share their perspectives on life in the Holy Land, including the challenges they face and their hopes for peace and stability. This dialogue strengthened the bond between the students and the Equestrian Order, highlighting the importance of solidarity and mutual support.
Deacon Sir Ryan Adams expressed optimism despite the challenges, sharing his hope to bring a pilgrim group to visit Bethlehem University and the Holy Land next year, further connecting the students with their global supporters.
Chantal Awad, a student ambassador, reflected that the meeting gave students hope, knowing that friends from around the world, especially from the Equestrian Order, are praying for them and sharing their stories.
Bethlehem University is deeply grateful for the ongoing support of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre, particularly from the USA Western Lieutenancy. Their commitment to supporting education and making a lasting difference in students’ lives strengthens the university’s mission and fosters opportunities for growth and global solidarity.
