Workshop on Artificial Intelligence at AIH

During the past three weeks, the Academic Innovation Hub presented sessions on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education. Led by Ms. Tina Hazboun, participants gained insight into AI and its role in education. They were introduced to key concepts of AI literacy and key related terms, building a foundational understanding of the technology.

The sessions highlighted practical examples of AI applications, demonstrating its growing presence and impact. Participants also examined the capabilities and limitations of AI, developing a balanced perspective on what AI can and cannot do. The sessions emphasized the significance of AI in the fields of education and research, underscoring its potential to transform teaching, learning, and knowledge production.

Additionally, faculty had the opportunity to intensely engage in hands-on practice in the lab, exploring various AI tools and topics to deepen their understanding and consider practical applications in their own teaching and research.
