As part of its commitment to community partnership and improving its surrounding environment, Bethlehem University held a key meeting with traffic and local government officials to explore solutions for better traffic management in the area.
Dr. Fadi Kattan, Executive Vice President of the University, welcomed Colonel Zuhair Al-Hawawreh, Director of Traffic Police, and Mr. Saleh Sobh, Director of the Governor of Bethlehem’s Office, to discuss ways to ease traffic congestion around the campus. Also in attendance were the directors of nearby Grand Hotel, Mr. Fares Al-Bandak, and Star Hotel, Mr. Jaleel Elias, emphasizing the importance of cooperation across academic, official, and tourism sectors.
Colonel Al-Hawawreh reaffirmed the Traffic Police’s readiness to support initiatives that benefit the public, while Mr. Sobh stressed the value of unified community action to create sustainable, practical solutions.
Dr. Kattan expressed his appreciation for the collaborative spirit, noting that Bethlehem University will continue to work with all local partners to ensure a safe and organized environment for students, staff, and visitors alike.
