Bethlehem University welcomed a delegation from the Bank of Palestine, headed by Ms. Reem Qarqa’ “Oudeh”, Director for the South, and Mr. Ramzi Abu Salem, Director of the Bethlehem Branch. The delegation also included representatives from the bank.
The delegation visited campus to extend their congratulations to Dr. Fadi Kattan on his appointment as Executive Vice President of the University and to Mr. Husam Wahhab on his new role as Acting Dean of the Shucri Ibrahim Dabdoub Faculty of Business Administration. The delegation expressed their best wishes for success in their new positions.
Dr. Kattan warmly welcomed the guests, especially as many of them are alumni of Bethlehem University—specifically of the Faculty of Business Administration, which Dr. Kattan led as Dean for over two decades before recently assuming his new role.
Mr. Wahhab also expressed his appreciation for the visit, highlighting the deep relationship between the University and the Bank of Palestine. He affirmed that Bethlehem University, across all its faculties, is always open to collaboration with leading national institutions, in ways that enhance the quality of education and community service the university provides.
During the visit, Ms. Qarqa’ emphasized the strategic importance of the longstanding relationship between the Bank of Palestine and Bethlehem University. She praised the University’s academic excellence and its national role in strengthening the Palestinian community. She reaffirmed the Bank’s commitment to building strategic partnerships with institutions of higher education, considering them key partners in sustainable development.
