Rabiha Elyan/Alayasa

Dr. Rabiha Elyan is a dedicated academic and researcher who passionately believes in the transformative power of human connection and emotional engagement in education. Dr. Rabiha earned her PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Jordan.

With extensive experience in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, she has held roles ranging from teacher and educational supervisor to course developer, where she created training materials for teachers. She later served as Director of the Monitoring and Evaluation Department, and eventually as Director General of General Education (Grades 1–12). Her work focused on educational evaluation, quality assurance, and performance improvement, including the establishment of monitoring and evaluation systems for both general education and the Higher Education and Scientific Research sectors. She also played a pivotal role in developing a quality assurance framework for the Palestinian School Education System.

Since joining Bethlehem University in 2021, Dr. Rabiha has published numerous research papers in leading academic journals. She is committed to equipping her students with the skills and knowledge needed to meet the demands of the modern era, while maintaining high standards of quality and creativity in education. Her passion for education is fueled by her dedication to continuous learning and innovation, which she views as an enduring source of motivation and inspiration. For her, promoting a culture of positive energy and encouragement is key to driving meaningful change and addressing the challenges in the educational field.
