On Friday 17 August, the entire Bethlehem University staff and faculty assembled to greet one another, catch up on the latest university news, new policies, and meet new members.

Dr. Irene Hazou, Vice President for Academic Affairs, presided over the meeting, welcomed everyone back on campus and made university announcements.

In his welcoming speech, Brother Peter Bray, Vice Chancellor, challenged the faculty and staff by asking them “what do we want Bethlehem University to be in 2023?” referring to the 50th anniversary of the university.

“Bethlehem University in 2023 will be from what will emerge from the choices that we make in these next five years,” he said.

He encouraged the faculty and staff to work together to create an environment and to develop an atmosphere for students to acquire knowledge and develop the attitudes and values that are going to enable them to live their lives as full as they possibly can.

Our best wishes for a successful academic year 2018-2019.
