Vice Chancellor Meets New Zealand Deputy Head of Mission

Deputy Head of Mission at the New Zealand Embassy in Cairo, Mr. Ross Batchelor; and Desk Officer for Palestine at the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade, Ms. Jennecca Evalu, visited Bethlehem University on Thursday, 23 May 2019.

Vice Chancellor Brother Peter Bray and Development Officer Ms. Shahinda Nassar met the delegation and gave them a tour of the University and a briefing about its history.

Brother Peter, a New Zealander by origin, spoke to the delegation about the plans Bethlehem University has to better serve its community and continue providing quality higher education to its students

Bethlehem University recently received two grants from the New Zealand Embassy in Cairo; one that would help in “enriching the quality of education for students with disabilities at Bethlehem University,” and the second to “purchase some needed musical equipment and uniforms to enrich Bethlehem University Student lives through Music, Dance and Drama.”

Bethlehem University is grateful to the New Zealand Head of Mission and the New Zealand Embassy for supporting its educational mission in the Holy Land.
