Bethlehem Business Incubator – Bethlehem University in cooperation with ARIJ, concluded a 45 hour capacity building program for youth groups that included trainings on digital marketing, innovation and design, and marketing principles. Participants submitted a marketing plan implemented within a project titled “Support the economy of the Palestinian agricultural and rural cooperatives led by women and small farmers to recover from the economic crisis in a smart and sustainable approach (ECSS)”, supported by the Spanish Development Cooperation.

Successfully, 15 participants, making up 4 teams have completed all trainings and were accredited with certificates of completion in appreciation of their attendance. As a result of these series of training sessions and the submission of their marketing plan, one team was chosen to initiate their own marketing hub start-up business. This was funded by the project to further continue with the overall objective of the project, which aims to empower Palestinian women and young farmers in agriculture, allowing them to access new market channels through this new marketing hub, in order to market their products in high quality terms and compatible prices.
