On behalf of His Holiness Pope Francis, the Prefect of the Dicastery for the Eastern Churches, H.E. Msgr. Claudio Gugerotti presented the Papal “Cross of Honor” to Brother Peter Bray, FSC, EdD, Vice Chancellor of Bethlehem University – جامعة بيت لحم for his service to the Church. It is one of the highest honors that the Pope can bestow.
Congratulations, Br. Peter, for this well-deserved award for all the years you have led Bethlehem University and accompanied Palestinian youth in their pursuit of a Lasallian university education.
Bethlehem University was the first Institution to welcome Palestinian students so that they could complete their studies and fulfill their future, and it serves as a beacon of hope for the entire community
