Physiotherapy Students Gain Hands-On Experience at Life Gate Center

In line with Bethlehem University’s mission to deliver transformative education that bridges academic learning with real-world practice, second-year students from the Department of Physical and Occupational Therapy recently conducted a scientific visit to the Life Gate Rehabilitation Center in Beit Jala. This visit, organized under the initiatives of the student club PT Bloom, exemplified the University’s commitment to experiential learning and professional excellence.

Accompanied by faculty member Ms. Siba Billian, the students engaged in a series of structured educational and clinical activities designed to strengthen their practical skills and deepen their scientific knowledge. Through direct interaction with patients and rehabilitation specialists, students were able to observe the latest therapeutic techniques and gain valuable insights into best practices in physical therapy.

The visit emphasized the integration of theoretical knowledge with real-life applications, a core principle of the PT Bloom student club. The club’s goal is to cultivate qualified and compassionate physical therapy professionals who are prepared to meet the evolving demands of the healthcare sector in Palestine and beyond.

By participating in initiatives like this, Bethlehem University students not only enhance their clinical competencies but also embody the University’s broader vision of empowering individuals to serve their communities with skill, leadership, and humanity.

Bethlehem University remains proud of its students’ dedication to learning and their commitment to building a healthier, more resilient society.
