On 16 October 2025, the Zbierski Library at Bethlehem University became a space of personal reflection and deep dialogue during a student-led session titled “The Real Devil.”
Library Director Elizabeth Dsouza warmly welcomed participants, invited each student to introduce themselves, and introduced the facilitator, Khader Qassis, expressing gratitude for his preparation and effort in leading the session.
The question “Who is the real devil?” stirred deep curiosity and reflection among the students. The session, led by Khader Qassis, was both thought-provoking and insightful. Through his engaging PowerPoint presentation, he invited everyone to look beyond the image of the devil as an external being and to reflect on the presence of evil within the human heart.
Drawing wisdom from different religious scriptures, he opened new perspectives and inspired participants to examine how goodness and evil wrestle within each of us. The discussion was lively, honest, and left everyone pondering long after the session ended.
The session was highly engaging, interactive, and left everyone reflecting on the choices we make every day.
Special appreciation goes to Library staff, Sana Salsa for her valuable assistance and all the participants for contributing to such an engaging session.
