Bethlehem University Launches AI Training to Enhance Employability and Workplace Skills

The AFAQ Project, in collaboration with the Institute for Community Engagement and Partnership at Bethlehem University, launched a new professional training course titled “Practical AI for Enhancing Employability and Workplace Efficiency” on Monday, 10 November 2025.

This course aims to empower participants to utilize modern Artificial Intelligence technologies to develop their professional skills, enhance productivity, and improve overall efficiency in the workplace.

It focuses on training participants in analyzing and applying AI tools in their daily professional tasks, including preparing, summarizing, and presenting professional content, conducting research, generating ideas, and drafting materials, while emphasizing the ethical and professional aspects of AI use.

A total of twenty-four participants from the parishes of Bethlehem, Beit Jala and Beit Sahour took part in the course.

This initiative is part of the AFAQ Project implemented by the Institute for Community Engagement and Partnership at Bethlehem University in cooperation with the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem. The project aims to support economic empowerment, advance employability, and provide youth and community members with skills that meet the needs of today’s labor market.

By focusing on AI literacy and practical applications, the training marks an important step in preparing youth to keep pace with rapid technological advancements and to integrate AI tools into their professional growth and career development.
