As part of Bethlehem University’s commitment to strengthening academic skills and supporting a holistic learning environment, the Zbierski Library at Bethlehem University organized a series of awareness and demonstration sessions aimed at introducing students to its subscribed electronic resources.
The sessions, led by Ms. Juha Juha from the Library Team, focused on familiarizing students with major academic databases, demonstrating effective search strategies, and promoting the use of credible digital resources in academic research.
Held between 16 and 29 October 2025, the sessions were delivered in collaboration with faculty members from multiple departments and conducted in classrooms across campus. Participating groups included:
- Nursing – Dr. Suzanne Vine Daher: 39 students
- Social Sciences (Master’s Program) – Dr. Abeer Musleh: 6 students
- Social Sciences – Dr. Nahida Al Arja: 142 students
- Humanities and Religious Studies – Dr. Raed Abdul Masih: 170 students
- Nursing – Ms. Etaf Makboul: 38 students
- English Department – Fr. Garrett Gundlach: 28 students
- MA in Pedagogy – Dr. Rabab Tamish: 8 students
- Nursing – Dr. Kevin Vollrath: 10 students
In total, 441 students benefited from these sessions.
This initiative reflects the Library’s dedication to empowering students with essential research competencies and encouraging the use of reliable academic resources. By equipping students with the tools and knowledge needed for effective research, Bethlehem University continues to strengthen its mission of academic excellence and student success.
