Aligned with its mission to advance research and serve the community, Dr. Ahmed Fasfous, Dean of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies, along with Ms. Minerva Qassis-Jarayseh and Ms. Hala Khalawi from the Department of Social Sciences, in a specialized neuropsychological assessment training from 27 October to 7 November 2025 under the EU-funded NeuroDev project.
The two-week training, held at the University of Granada in Spain, included hands-on applications of internationally recognized tools used to assess neuropsychological performance in children. The training was conducted in collaboration with An-Najah National University/ Palestinian Child Institute and Hebron University.
This participation reflects Bethlehem University’s ongoing efforts, together with partner Palestinian universities, to establish university-based centers for neurodevelopment disorders, strengthening scientific capacity and improving psychological services for children with neurodevelopmental disorders in Palestine.
