Bethlehem University Presents the 2025 Widad Abu Dayyah Award for Academic Excellence in Hotel Management and Tourism

On Friday, 11 July 2025, Bethlehem University proudly presented the Mrs. Widad Abu Dayyah Award for Academic Excellence in Hotel Management and Tourism for the year 2025 to Ms. Nicole Emile Anton Khalilieh, a top-performing student in the Bachelor of Hotel Management program at the Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism.

Ms. Khalilieh earned the highest cumulative GPA among her female peers by the end of the graduation semester of the 2024–2025 academic year, meeting all the criteria for this award.

The award was conferred by Brother Dr. Hernán Santos, Vice Chancellor of Bethlehem University, in the presence of Dr. Fadi Kattan, Executive Vice President, and Mr. Elias Juha, Director of the Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism.

Traditionally presented during the annual graduation ceremony, the award was given on a separate occasion this year due to the postponement of the graduation, which was delayed in light of the ongoing national circumstances, particularly those affecting the Gaza Strip.

Bethlehem University extends its warmest wishes to Ms. Nicole Khalilieh and all graduates of the Class of 2025, celebrating their hard work, resilience, and commitment to excellence as they begin the next chapter in their professional journeys.
