On Friday, 29 August 2025, Bethlehem University held its annual faculty and staff meeting to officially mark the beginning of the 53rd academic year (2025–2026). The gathering, held at the Anton Sansur Hall, brought together faculty and administrative staff to share updates, celebrate new appointments, and look ahead to the year’s priorities.
The meeting opened with a prayer and reflection led by Br. Mark McKeon, FSC, Coordinator of Institutional Values, followed by welcoming remarks from Prof. Iman Saca, Vice President for Academic Affairs. Brother Hernán Santos, FSC, Vice Chancellor of Bethlehem University, then addressed the community, highlighting this year’s theme: “We found a way”; a call to teach with excellence, accompany our students, and serve our community with renewed commitment.
Faculty Deans also introduced newly appointed faculty members who have recently joined the University community. Updates from both academic and administrative departments were also shared, with Prof. Saca elaborating on academic developments and initiatives that will further strengthen the University’s mission of excellence in teaching, research, and service to the Palestinian community.
The meeting reflected Bethlehem University’s commitment to collaboration, growth, and innovation as it embarks on a new academic year.
