Bethlehem University Marks the Beginning of the Academic Year with the Mass of the Holy Spirit

As is tradition at the start of each academic year, Bethlehem University gathered to celebrate the graciousness of God through the Mass of the Holy Spirit.

This year’s celebration was held on Thursday, 11 September 2025, in the University’s Chapel of the Divine Child. The Bethlehem University community came together to ask for God’s blessing and to seek the guidance and wisdom of the Holy Spirit as the University embarks on the 2025–2026 academic year.

The Mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Bernard Poggi, Rector of the Latin Patriarchal Seminary, who prayed for the Holy Spirit to guide the Bethlehem University community in its mission to spread wisdom through education.

The Mass of the Holy Spirit is a cherished occasion where the administration, faculty, staff, students, and the De La Salle Christian Brothers unite in prayer, offering gratitude to God and renewing their commitment to the mission of Bethlehem University.
