Bethlehem University’s Occupational Therapy students took part in the 12th Free Medical Day, organized by the Health and Environment Unit at Lajee Center. Together with Nursing students from the Arab American University, they led engaging and educational activities across five specialized health stations, focusing on healthy behaviors and working positions, community well-being, and preventive care.
The initiative served over 200 beneficiaries from Aida Camp, Al-Azza Camp, and surrounding areas, providing free medical consultations in ophthalmology, internal medicine, pediatrics, and orthopedics, alongside the distribution of prescribed medications.
This community outreach initiative reflects Bethlehem University’s mission to combine academic learning with service, empowering students to apply their skills in real-world contexts while contributing to the health and resilience of local communities.
