Bethlehem University Students with Disabilities Participate in Interactive Sports Initiative

Bethlehem University, through its Youth-Friendly Health Center “NAFAS” under the Deanship of Students, organized a sports and wellness initiative for students with disabilities in collaboration with the Palestinian Medical Relief Society (PMRS). The event took place in the scenic natural area of Cremisan, Beit Jala, offering an empowering and inclusive experience for participating students.

The initiative aimed to promote physical and mental wellbeing through interactive and recreational sports, emphasizing inclusion, teamwork, and self-expression. The activities included basketball, volleyball, badminton, and other engaging group games that fostered communication, cooperation, and confidence among the participants.

Beyond the physical benefits, the event created a positive and supportive environment that encouraged social interaction and emotional release, helping students strengthen their sense of belonging and self-worth. The combination of movement, nature, and teamwork provided a holistic experience that contributed to the students’ overall wellbeing.

This initiative reflects Bethlehem University’s commitment to providing a supportive and inclusive campus environment that meets the needs of all students. The University continues to strengthen its mission of holistic education, one that nurtures both academic growth and personal development within an inclusive, compassionate community.
